We told you to visit the fantastic Nick
Cave exhibition at the UCLA Fowler Museum and if you still haven’t gone,
you can’t miss this free after-hours event they’re throwing on Saturday,
May 22nd: Soundsuits After Dark. There will be dancers performing
in Nick Cave’s soundsuits. Local radio djs from KCRW including Jason
Bentley and Garth Trinidad will be spinning. Make your own Soundsuit on
the Fowler Museum Terrace – bring your own article of clothing to embellish
with pom-poms, sequins, buttons and more – or be one of the first 750
guests and receive socks to decorate courtesy of American Apparel! Enjoy
pop-up poetry readings, cocktails from the Fowler’s amphitheatre and
terrace bars, as well as some of L.A.’s most popular food trucks!
