We’re saddened to inform everyone of the passing of two beloved pets in
the web department aquarium. The pair of unnamed Golden Chinese Algae Eater fish
(Gyrinocheilidae aymonieri) were found dead of mysterious causes
earlier today. They were with us for about 9 months as they contentedly
and tirelessly consumed algae through the tank.
They will be missed but we know they are in a better place, perhaps in an
algae-filled lake in fish heaven. The Algae Eater fish are survived by their
tankmate Reverend Run, the red Betta.
